I’m Ms. Meyya, better known as Auntie. I am a licensed, certified and fully vetted childcare professional specializing in early childhood education here in the Hamilton neighborhood of Baltimore City. I'm an Air Force veteran, and recently retired from the Department of Justice with 26 yrs. of combined service. I've spent my entire career in the tech sector and dedicated the past ten years of my career to law enforcement serving as a certified Digital Forensic Examiner and working primarily crimes against children across the US and abroad.
My passion for learning, teaching, nurturing and protecting children, combined with a little tech savvy, is what gave birth to Auntie's Little Learners STEM Program. I wanted to create a safe environment for children to learn and grow, while introducing them to the world of Science and Technology in safe, fun and age-appropriate ways.
Meet our Substitute Teacher
Our classroom assistant and substitute is my Mom, Mrs. Marie, and we make a phenomenal team! In her 30+ year career at Shriners Hospital for Children, she worked as a Physical and Occupational Rehabilitation Assistant helping children with severe injuries and other disabilities. She’s truly one of the most kind and patient people I know! A grand/great-grand mother of 16, Mrs. Marie is also a talented creative skilled in knitting, crocheting, quilting, crafting, painting, cooking, baking and so much more! We are so blessed to have her working with us.
